Art and gastronomy are at stake, and harmony is born of skilful blending. It is often a good idea to enhance a dish or highlight the exquisiteness of a flavour by letting the ingredients that usage or conformity have prevented us from considering together, talk to each other.

Thomas Bernard and Christian Berst have not given up trying to find, through the works they defend, how to restore their essence and taste to you. This strange place for a meeting is made for that, for the eye, for exchange, for pleasure, for edification.

Meeting between the works of Leopold Strobl (christian berst art brut) and Franck Eon (Thomas Bernard gallery - Cortex Athletico).

Leopold Strobl has been part of Gugging (Austria) for the last ten years, finding comfort and redemption in art, a way of holding his mental demons off. He draws with colored pencil on small-format. Crafted on landscape photographs found in newspapers, his drawings are similar to magnetic portals. Strobl is part of the Museum Of Modern Art (New York) collections since 2018, his work was presented the following year in the exhibition Photo | Brut at the Rencontres d’Arles. In 2024, his work was presented at the Venice Biennale, curated by Adriano Pedrosa.
