Christian Berst Art Brut has given Bruno Decharme carte blanche for the organization and installation of the gallery’s forthcoming exhibition, Art Brut Masterpieces. The exhibition opens October 21 and will close on November 29, and runs concurrently with an exhibition of Decharme’s private collection at the Maison Rouge.
Art Brut Masterpieces includes major, historic works by Martin Ramirez, Adolf Wolflï, Janko Domsic, and Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern côtoieront alongside the contemporary works of Lubôs Plný, Harald Stoffers, Kunizo Matsumoto and Zdenek Kosek.
The exhibition is accompanied by a 200-page bilingual catalog that features a conversation between Christian Berst and Bruno Decharme.
